Hawkesdene is unique in that we are not a ‘day of’ wedding venue. Instead, we are a reunion-style venue that offers an extended stay vacation for you and your invited guests. Our Estate Wedding rates are separated into three categories which apply to any group who confirms. They are: Estate Wedding Fee, Estate Rental, and Estate Dining. WEDDING FEE

WHAT’S INCLUDED:

• Wedding planning and day-of coordinating – not only on wedding day, but the entire time you are here.

• Unlimited wedding planning access via phone, text, email, and in person, too.

• Use of our furniture, equipment and an extensive amount of wedding décor items for tables and stations including lanterns, votive & floating candles, easels, signage, wine barrels, linens, and so much more, so that all you need to bring are your personal items. Please refer to the detailed list in the Estate Wedding document.

• Choice of Ceremony Site.

• Use of Bridal Salon.

• Onsite Parking

• Setup, service and breakdown of your wedding rehearsal, ceremony, and reception.

• A complimentary RTV ride on your wedding day to the top of our mountain to capture on film, the unobstructed and breathtaking view of the sunset and surrounding mountains.

• A complimentary overnight stay for the wedding couple for planning purposes and to make a mini vacation out of your visit, meet with our wedding planning team, make decisions about the details of your wedding and extended stay, and explore Hawkesdene and the area on your own.

ESTATE WEDDING DEPOSIT
& CONFIRMATION

A $1,000 non-refundable estate wedding deposit is required to confirm your wedding and secure your preferred dates and current rates with the balance required one (1) year prior to your arrival. You are welcome to submit a $1,000 refundable good faith deposit prior to confirming to hold your preferred dates pending your decision and the good faith deposit will convert to the $1,000 non-refundable estate wedding fee deposit if you should decide to confirm.

No tax applied to Estate Wedding Fee.

  • A list of offsite accommodations including hotels and cottages located within a 4-mile radius for your overflow guests
  • Idyllic grounds, gardens and rushing creeks with paths and trails providing direct access into the Nantahala National Forest
  • Llama & alpaca stable with our own herd of resident llamas & alpacas

ESTATE RENTAL DEPOSIT

Estate rental confirmation along with a 50% non-refundable estate rental deposit is required one hundred and eighty (180) days prior to arrival with the balance required fifteen (15) days prior to arrival.

Your invited guests are welcome to pay Hawkesdene directly for their own accommodations and any portion of your reservation through our secure reservation system. Please inquire for details.

ESTATE DINING DEPOSIT

100% of the estate dining cost is required 15 days prior to arrival.

Vendor meals for hired ‘third party’ vendors who are not guests of Hawkesdene and who dine from the dinner buffet are priced at 50% off. There is no discount for vendors who require a separate meal or dining time.

Children who are dependent on a parent to feed them are excluded from participating in the dining plan.

7% NC Sales Tax and 18% Service Charge will apply.

Hawkesview Cottages

Hawkesview Cottages consist of two cottages that are adjoined and are therefore rented together. Accommodations include 5 private bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms that will accommodate 10 – 16 guests. Also included is a large screened area with seating for 16- 20 guests, amazing Hawkesdene and Snowbird Mountain views, a stocked wood-burning fire pit and a game room with a ping pong table and corn hole.

Complimentary WiFi throughout the property.

When this cottage is not used for a Hawkesdene group event, it is available for private rental. There is a 2-night minimum stay. Estate dining is not available when the cottages are rented privately. Please contact Hawkesdene at 800-447-9549 or by email for availability.

Blackberry Cottage

Blackberry Cottage is a 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom cottage overlooking the llama and alpaca pasture.   With two king size bedrooms, two queen size bedrooms and one queen-size sleeper sofa, the cottage sleeps 8 to 10 guests.

Blackberry Cottage is a split plan with two bedrooms and one full bathroom upstairs and two bedrooms and one full bathroom downstairs with private entry to each floor.  It has a fully equipped kitchen including all cooking utensils, flatware, dishes and coffee maker with all the coffee fixings.  The family room features a sleeper sofa, 55″ TV with cable, central heat & air, inside and outside dining areas and a laundry room stocked with a washer and dryer, iron and ironing board. All bedrooms are equipped with comfortable beds, luxury linens, 40” Smart TV, alarm clock and private labeled bottled water.  Amenities include a hairdryer and the Molton Brown collection of eco-friendly hair, bath and body products.

Phillips House

Phillips House is an extra large 5-bedroom, 4 1/2-bathroom house offering stunning mountain views.  With five king size bedrooms and two queen-size sleeper sofas, the house sleeps 10 to 14 guests.

Phillips House has a fully equipped kitchen including all cooking utensils, flatware, dishes and coffee maker with all the coffee fixings.  The dining room includes two large dining tables with seating for 16 guests, a large family room with gas fireplace, queen size sleeper sofa, 55″ TV with Satellite, central heat & air, an outside dining area, and a laundry room stocked with a washer and dryer, iron and ironing board. All bedrooms are equipped with comfortable beds, luxury linens, 40” Smart TV’s, an alarm clock and private labeled bottled water.  Amenities include a hairdryer and the Molton Brown collection of eco-friendly hair, bath and body products.
