Enjoy a mountain hiking and dining experience with a woolly companion. Our llama treks are the perfect ending to your day in Western North Carolina — a climb to the peak of Hawkesnest Mountain for a delicious grilled supper and sunset view.

Accompanied by a knowledgeable guide, our llamas Hawke, Dene, Crazy Horse and Scooter will carry your gourmet meal so you can relax and enjoy nature. This 30-minute walk up the mountain is manageable for healthy individuals ages 3-80.

Sitting atop a mountain ridge in Andrews NC, the large Hawkesnest Pavilion is the perfect place for you to enjoy a three-course dinner featuring appetizer, main entree, and cheesecake, served with sparkling grape juice.

The cost is $39 per person, with a minimum of 2 persons and a maximum of 14 per trek. Advance reservations are required for trekking. Llama treks are available mid April thru October.
