awkesdene House is a private mountain estate located in the mountains of Western North Carolina. Nestled in a private cove on twenty-six acres, the entire estate is available for your perfect destination wedding, family reunion or special group retreat.

With the main house and five cottages, the estate has a total of 17 rooms and can accommodate up to 52 lodging guests in elegant accommodations; and dining is available for up to 125 event guests. Upscale amenities, beautiful landscaping, fabulous gardens and impeccably maintained grounds ensure a memory-making experience.

Without leaving the estate you can hike from your door to a hidden waterfall, take a llama trek to a mountain top, reminisce in front of the fire in the Open Air Pavilion, or stroll by the sparkling stream meandering through the property.
